Each Bienvivir facility has a day health center. Participants are transported to the facility in the morning and return home in the afternoon. While at the facility, participants can:

• Engage in social activities and recreation;
• Bathe and receive assistance with personal hygiene;
• Visit with the physician or nursing staff, or any other member of the IDT;
• Receive any necessary treatment or therapy; and
• Have a snack and lunch.

Participants are at the Bienvivir facility an average of two - three times a week, but unscheduled visits may occur based on need. The IDT determines how many times a week the participant will come to the facility.
